My Approach:

Having lived and worked across the US, Japan, and New Zealand, it’s important to me to support families from a wide range of backgrounds. I offer a warm, down-to-earth style.

I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ youth and with youth on the autism spectrum. In a prior role at the Seattle Children’s Autism Center Gender Clinic, I worked with youth who have a diagnosis of autism and identify as transgender or gender diverse.  I am committed to supporting families by providing research-based therapy approaches in the context of gender-affirmative care.

I greatly enjoy working with parents of children who may struggle with defiance, emotion regulation difficulties/ tantrums, sleep, and lags in developing independence. I am trained in the Incredible Years (parenting program and Dinosaur School) and Helping the Noncompliant Child.  I am a certified parent trainer of the Research Units in Behavioral Intervention (RUBI) parent training program. I value helping parents to understand what is driving their child's behavior so that they stay attuned to their child and better navigate future difficulties.
