About Me:

I’m thrilled to be a team member at Child and Teen Solutions. My experiences working with young children and teens throughout my life, in academic research, and in clinical settings have fostered my dedication to supporting children and their families.

After earning my B.S. in Psychology at Georgia State University, I worked full-time at Pennsylvania State University on a NIH-funded grant aimed at understanding the development of self-regulation in young children. In my current role as a PhD student in the University of Washington’s Child Clinical Psychology program, my research focuses on factors that promote children’s self and emotion regulation development in low-income contexts. My goal is to identify ways to support parents under significant financial strain and empower families in nurturing their children’s emotional well-being.

My clinical experiences have involved young children, teens, and adults. My work with parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders with co-occurring behavioral problems further solidified my interests in supporting families. Working with children and their parents is my passion. I deeply value and respect the diverse values and priorities of each family and embrace collaboration with parents to achieve their unique family goals.

My goal is to provide care grounded in compassion and the best available evidence tailored to suit families’ specific needs.
