Role Overview

We are seeking a psychologist or postdoctoral fellow to join our team. Child and Teen Solutions (CATS) offers careers in clinical psychology. We are seeking candidates who are interested in long-term positions, beyond the postdoc year. We are prioritizing candidates with strong child assessment backgrounds (including autism) and report writing skills.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide in‑person developmental and educational evaluations for learning disorders, autism, and ADHD.

  • Offer evidence‑based therapy and parent consultation, drawing on approaches such as CBT, exposure techniques, PCIT, and Incredible Years.

  • Collaborate with families and colleagues to deliver creative, compassionate care.

  • Embrace opportunities to receive supervision and mentorship, with opportunities to grow toward independence.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Starting Pay

    • Pay is hourly and based on full-time work, defined as 1200 billable hours per year (25 billable hours per week)

      • $85,000 annually for postdoctoral fellows

      • $115,000 annually for early career psychologists seeking mentorship at CATS

      • $130,000+ annually for advanced career psychologists

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical, counseling, or school psychology.

  • At least 3 years of experience working with children, teens, and parents.

  • Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders and family systems.

  • Licensed to practice in Washington State

  • U.S. work authorization required.
