Careers at Child and Teen Solutions
Seattle, WA
Current Opening: Psychologist or Postdoctoral Fellow
Child and Teen Solutions (CATS) is a growing group private practice in the heart of Madison Park, Seattle. We specialize in child and adolescent treatment and evaluation services, offering families state‑of‑the‑art care in a supportive, values‑driven environment. Our beautiful offices with views of Lake Washington provide a welcoming space for both clients and clinicians.
We are more than a clinic - we are a learning community, committed to ongoing education, mentorship, and evidence‑based practice.
Please note that Child and Teen Solutions does not follow the APPIC Uniform Notification Date (UND) timeline. Our hiring process is conducted on a rolling basis. Applications are evaluated as they are submitted, and qualified candidates may be invited to interview or receive offers prior to the closing of the posting. We encourage early submission to ensure full consideration.
Our positions are designed as a career path within our clinic, rather than a stand‑alone fellowship year. We intend to make offers in January, allowing candidates to transition smoothly into long‑term roles that emphasize mentorship, growth, and stability.

My time at CATS set the standard for what excellent clinical training and workplace culture should look like. The mentorship and supervision I received - particularly from Dr. Pavlidis - were truly formative. She took the time to intentionally develop my clinical judgment in assessment, helping me grow not only in technical skill, but also in confidence and professional identity as a clinician.
As a working mom, flexibility and understanding were essential, and Dr. Pavlidis extended the empathy and support I needed to ensure my family could come first without compromising my professional growth. CATS is a place where clinicians are genuinely supported and encouraged to grow at every stage of their careers, both professionally and personally, and the intentional care I received spoke volumes about the clinic’s values to do the same for all children and families.
I deeply value the team-based approach at CATS, where collaboration, consultation, and support are embedded in the daily culture. Ongoing learning is a particularly meaningful and attractive aspect of the CATS model. Through regular didactics, team M&M meetings, and rich consultation, there are continual opportunities to learn, reflect, and challenge yourself.
What truly sets CATS apart is the commitment to learning with humility and continuous professional growth. In every interaction with mentors, peers, and supervisors, I experienced a shared dedication to thoughtful care, mutual respect, and a commitment to strive for excellence. My time at CATS established a standard of excellence and care that I have been pursuing ever since, and returning to CATS has been a long-held professional dream. (E.M. - former UW practicum student in 2023, returning for Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2026)
