background:
My experience across school and clinical settings has provided me with specialized training in psychoeducational, neurodevelopmental, and pediatric neuropsychological assessment and therapy. I have worked in multiple school districts across western Washington and completed advanced practicum training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD), where my clinical work focused on children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and learning differences as well as individuals with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) diagnosis.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to both assessment and therapy, partnering with children, adolescents, and their families to better understand each individual's unique profile. This allows us to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations that support meaningful growth across home, school, and community settings.
In therapy, I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and behavioral interventions. My work is grounded in centering care around helping children and adolescents build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills.
I describe my style as approachable, collaborative, and compassionate. I am excited to support your child and family as a member of the CATS team!
